Founder, Stephanie Kunkel, recently did an interview on Unique This Week, brought to you by https://uniquenessispower.com/. With host and producer, Andy Greider. As always, you can catch all his shows on the https://uniquenessispower.com/ YouTube channel.
Take a listen to this truly inspiring conversation with Stephanie Kunkel, the founder of Perspective Shifters. Stephanie’s mission is nothing short of revolutionary: she aims to change the world by empowering people to shift their perspectives. It’s going to be a ride full of insights and actionable advice.
Meet Stephanie Kunkel
Stephanie’s journey is a testament to resilience and transformation. Diagnosed with depression and anxiety, she sought ways to not only manage her mental health but to also lead and coach others dealing with similar challenges. This dual journey in mental health and leadership led her to create the Perspective Shifters Hub.
“True empowerment begins with a shift in perspective.” — Stephanie Kunkel
The Genesis of Perspective Shifters
Perspective Shifters was born out of Stephanie’s experiences with mental health and leadership. As she navigated her own challenges, she noticed gaps in emotional intelligence and mental health awareness in traditional leadership development.
This realization led her to write her book and subsequently dive into executive coaching. However, migraines affected her ability to maintain a rigid coaching schedule, prompting her to create a more flexible system.
The Birth of the Hub
Stephanie paired with other experts to create the Perspective Shifters Hub—a one-stop shop for diverse coaching needs. Whether you’re looking for executive leadership coaching, health coaching, financial coaching, or spiritual coaching, the hub provides courses, training, and coaching all under one roof.
“The idea is that if you want to change the world, shift your perspective, or help others shift theirs, we have the tools and resources to help you do that.” — Stephanie Kunkel
Building the Community
When asked about the trajectory of growth within the community, Stephanie shared that it was initially slow. Marketing theories often advise niching down, but Perspective Shifters aims to help anyone willing to shift their perspective, making it challenging to narrow their focus.
Championing Over Leading
Stephanie uses “championing” instead of “leading” to describe her approach. For her, a good leader is always championing for their people, advocating for their needs and providing essential resources and support.
Lessons Learned
As an entrepreneur, author, and coach, Stephanie wears many hats. Building the Perspective Shifters community taught her invaluable lessons, one of which is the importance of staying true to oneself. Before she started the hub, she realized that using a one-size-fits-all system isn’t effective. But on Unique This Week – Stephanie Kunkel shared that she had to re-learn that approach by going back through her own programs.
“No system is perfect for every single person. It’s about using those systems as tools to help you be unique and express yourself.” — Stephanie Kunkel
